More than 190 million Americans are overweight or obese. Studies show that 60% of American adults don't get the recommended amount of physical activity, and over 25% of adults are not active at all.
Our program is an inclusive program that encourages increased activity throughout the day. We help you focus on changing habits with daily support over a 9 week program. Strong social connections and gradual increase in fitness will support you as you develop new healthy walking habits.

This program is designed for men and women who want to get started with a walking program. We will meet twice a week for nine weeks for our group walk. Weekly clinics with Britani from Athletico Physical Therapy will provide you with tips on core strength & stretching, proper walking form, weight loss or weight maintenance, injury prevention and help you make fitness a part of your life.
Group walks are scheduled for Tuesday and Friday evenings at 6 PM from our Fleet Feet Sports Schererville store.
We will provide you with a 9 week training schedule, on site coaching, two weekly coached walks, weekly educational clinics, free injury screenings, entry into giveaways and raffles and emailed advice and support from coaches and the opportunity to walk the Public Enemy 5K with the group (race registration is not included) .
Program starts Friday, April 28th at 6 PM and will meet on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 6 PM through June 23rd. Orientation meeting isTuesday, 25th at 6 PM at Fleet Feet Sports in Schererville. This program is sponsored by Athletico Physical Therapy.
